Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 July 2026

These terms cover using Gamzic, hosting events on it, and how cash prizes work. By using the platform you agree to them. If you don’t, don’t use it.

Gamzic is not gambling

You never pay to enter. There are no entry fees, no deposits, no wallet, no credits, no buy-ins and no betting of any kind. You cannot stake money on a match here, and you cannot put money into this platform at all. Prize money comes from Gamzic and its sponsors, and it moves one way: out, to players who win.

Because nothing is ever staked, playing on Gamzic costs you nothing but your time.

1. Who can use Gamzic

  • You must be at least 13. Under 18s need a parent or guardian’s permission.
  • You must be 18 or older to enter any event with a cash prize, or to host one.
  • Cash-prize events are currently open to players in South Africa only, because that is where we can pay. Free events are open to everyone.
  • One account per person. This is enforced, and it matters — see section 3.

2. Your account

Sign-in is through Google only. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google account secure. Keep your details accurate — if we can’t identify you, we can’t pay you.

You can delete your account at any time. Results of events you played stay in the public record, because other players’ standings depend on them.

3. Phone verification

To join, check in to, or host any event with a cash prize, you must verify a mobile number by SMS. A verified number belongs to exactly one account and cannot be moved to another. Once verified, your number is locked — changing it means verifying the new one.

This exists for one reason: to stop a single person entering an event several times under different accounts and taking prize money meant for a real field of players. Attempting that will cost you the prize and the account.

4. Fair play

Don’t do any of this:

  • Cheat, use unauthorised software, exploit bugs, or play on someone else’s behalf.
  • Run more than one account, or verify a number that isn’t yours.
  • Arrange a result in advance, or split a prize in exchange for throwing a match.
  • Submit a false result, a doctored screenshot, or someone else’s screenshot.
  • Harass, threaten or abuse other players, in chat or anywhere else.
  • Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, or that involves a minor inappropriately.

We can remove content, void a result, withhold a prize, or suspend or close an account for any of the above. Where money is involved we will tell you why.

5. Events: free and funded

Free events can be created by anyone. Gamzic doesn’t fund them, doesn’t hold anything, and isn’t responsible for what a host does or promises. If a host advertises a prize on a free event, that is between you and them — check who you’re playing with.

Funded events are ones where Gamzic has attached prize money. They are marked as such, and the prize and the number of paying places are shown before you join. Sections 6 to 8 apply only to funded events.

6. Hosting a funded event

Funded events run on published host slots. You apply for one and we approve it — the slot states the prize, your fee, the game, the date and how many players must check in. Taking a slot means agreeing to:

  • Actually run the event, on the date, as described.
  • Reach the check-in target. Your fee is earned on players who check in, not on sign-ups. Miss the target and no fee is due.
  • Report the result honestly and on time, and declare the winners accurately.
  • Submit a recording of the final, if that slot asks for one.
  • Not play in an event you are being paid to host, and not name yourself or an accomplice as a winner.

A Gamzic admin may join any funded event as a spectator, unannounced. Padding a field with fake accounts, inventing check-ins or fixing a result means no fee, no future slots, and where money was taken dishonestly, recovery of it.

7. Prizes and how they are paid

Gamzic pays winners directly. A host never handles prize money, which is the entire point of funding events this way.

  • A prize is released once the event is complete, the result is undisputed, the check-in target was met, and there is no open report against the event.
  • Every winner must post a screenshot of their own result before being paid. It appears publicly on the event page and your profile. No screenshot, no payment.
  • Your phone number must be verified at the moment of payment.
  • Payment is by FNB eWallet, Capitec Send Cash or EFT, to the person who won. We don’t pay a third party on your behalf.
  • We aim to pay within 7 days of release. A dispute or an open report pauses it until resolved.

There is no balance on this platform. A prize is a specific amount owed for a specific result, recorded and then paid out. Nothing accumulates, nothing is stored, and there is nothing to withdraw or transfer between accounts.

Any tax payable on winnings is your responsibility. We keep a record of who was paid what for our own accounting.

8. Results, screenshots and disputes

Results come from what the platform can observe — check-ins, confirmed scores, and the winners a host declares from players who actually checked in. Both players confirming the same score settles a match automatically; a disagreement flags it for review.

Winner screenshots are a public record, deliberately. By posting one you agree it can be shown on the event page, on your profile, and in Gamzic’s own posts about that event. Don’t include anything private in it.

If you think a result or a payout is wrong, email support@gamzic.com within 7 days of the event. An admin decision on a disputed result is final, because someone has to make the call and it can’t be the people with money riding on it.

9. Your content

What you post stays yours. You give us permission to display it on the platform and to use it to promote Gamzic and its events — your screenshots, results, display name and avatar may appear on the site and in our posts about an event you played in.

Only post what you have the right to post. We can remove anything that breaks these terms, and you can ask us to remove your own content at any time.

10. Availability

Gamzic is provided as it is. We don’t promise it will always be available, bug free, or that a scheduled event will always go ahead, and we may change or remove features. If we cancel a funded event before it runs, no prize is owed — but we won’t cancel one that has already been played.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, for what other players or hosts do, or for problems in the games themselves, which we don’t operate. Where we are liable, it is limited to the value of any prize you were actually owed and not paid.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or any other law that can’t be excluded.

12. Suspension and closing accounts

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and withhold or reclaim a prize obtained by cheating, fake accounts or a fixed result. For anything short of fraud we’ll tell you what happened and give you a chance to respond.

13. Changes

We’ll update the date at the top when these change. Anything affecting how prizes, hosting or eligibility work will be announced in the app, not slipped in quietly. Continuing to use Gamzic after a change means you accept it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

15. Contact
