This is where things get really exciting. We believe some of the best untapped gaming talent sits in high schools and colleges across South Africa. In the coming months, Gamzic will be launching organized school vs. school and college vs. college competitions — giving students a reason to practice, strategize, and represent their institution with pride. Why Rocket League?
We chose Rocket League as our starting game for good reason. It's accessible — the concept of “car soccer” clicks instantly. It's cross-platform, so you can play on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch. And most importantly, it has one of the highest skill ceilings in gaming, meaning there's always room to improve, always something new to learn, and always a reason to keep competing.
Most of our current players are first-timers. Young people who have never played Rocket League before, let alone competed in a match. We teach them how to play, guide them through the basics, and watch them grow into confident competitors. That transformation — from “I don't know how to play” to “I just won my first match” — is what drives everything we do.

We've already been hosting events at loveLife, a youth centre in eMalahleni (Witbank), Mpumalanga. These community sessions bring together young people from the area for competitive gaming matches that are fun, safe, and inspiring — with no cost to attend. The energy is electric. People who have never held a controller before walk in curious and leave as competitors. That's the power of what we're doing.
And this is just the beginning. We're actively planning to host events at more venues, more cities, and more communities across South Africa. Every match we host is a step closer to making esports a mainstream, respected, and accessible activity for everyone.
